Preamble
Authobek exists because of developers. This document sets out the rights every developer has on the platform. It is a public commitment, not marketing copy — we hold ourselves accountable to it, and we invite developers to hold us to it.
1. Ownership of your work
- You own the intellectual property in the software you publish.
- Authobek receives only the licenses necessary to host, distribute, verify, and display your listing.
- You may remove your applications at any time, subject to reasonable notice to existing users.
- Your identity, brand assets, and public profile belong to you.
2. Fair and explainable review
- Every review decision cites the published guideline it applies.
- Rejections and requests for changes come with actionable feedback.
- You have the right to appeal any decision through the appeals workflow.
- Payments never influence approval, rejection, or ranking.
3. Transparent communication
- Governance actions on your account or applications are logged and visible to you.
- You will receive notifications for status changes, reports, and lifecycle events.
- Policy changes that affect your obligations will be communicated in advance whenever practical.
4. Security and privacy
- Your account is protected by industry-standard authentication and rate limiting.
- Uploaded packages are integrity-verified and served through signed distribution links.
- Your personal data is handled in line with the Privacy Policy — no sale to third parties.
5. Fair monetization
- Unlimited free updates for published applications.
- Optional paid growth services are clearly labelled with duration, cost, and eligibility.
- The Starbek Media Wallet gives you a transparent record of every transaction.
- We commit to explaining any change to pricing or eligibility with reasonable notice.
6. A voice in the platform
Developers can propose improvements to policies, report issues with governance, and contribute feedback on new features. Authobek commits to publishing responses to material feedback and evolving the platform in the open.
